About Dr Alastair Jones

I’m a Sports Medicine and Musculoskeletal Physician, known as The Sports Injury Doctor. With over 15 years of experience in this field, I’ve created and I lead a number of sports injury clinics across Leeds, Bradford and West Yorkshire.

These clinics are multi-professional, meaning I work alongside physiotherapists, radiologists and orthopaedic surgeons, to ensure that you get to see the right person at the right time, to treat your MSK injury in a timely manner.

When you have an MSK injury that affects your day-to-day, or participation in sport, it can be very painful and frustrating. With 18 million people having MSK issues every year, statutory waiting lists exceeding 7 million, and not being able to see the right clinician, your injury could become chronic. Associated MSK and health concerns are inevitable, and the fear that you may never regain your normal is real.

From the elite, to the weekend warrior, my team will support you to return to pre-injury levels of fitness as quickly and safely as possible.
