About Mustafa Alnaib

As clinic founder of ACTIVATE, I am passionate about providing evidence based non-surgical musculoskeletal care and minor surgery which are accessible, affordable and patient-centred, recognising the changing landscape in private healthcare in the UK.

In addition to my private work at ACTIVATE, I work in the NHS as the MSK doctor for Croydon Integrated MSK service. My work has led to improvement in service quality, reduction in waiting times, reforming MSK care in Croydon. I am also an orthopaedic surgeon (general trauma, SAS grade) in Tunbridge Wells Hospital. I also practice privately at Jorja Healthcare in Harley Street and Essex, and Visit Health in Kensington. 

I bring a wealth of expertise built on extensive postgraduate qualifications in both medical and surgical practice, as well as academic and leadership achievements. These qualifications allow me to provide patient-centred, evidence-based care tailored to individual needs.

Medical and Surgical Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Surgical Sciences (Distinction): Awarded by The University of Edinburgh
  • Fellowship of the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (FEBOT)
  • Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCS)
  • AO Trauma Fellowship: Completed at Luzerner Kantonsspital in Switzerland
  • Certification in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Scanning: Obtained from the University of East London
  • Diploma in Football Medicine: Awarded by Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA)

Academic and Leadership Qualifications

  • Certificate in Medical Education: Conferred by the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE)
  • Edward Jenner Award in Healthcare Leadership: Granted by the NHS Leadership Academy
  • Tutor for the MSc in Surgical Sciences (ESSQ) course: A role with The University of Edinburgh
