Shane is an experienced physiotherapist with a passion for helping individuals achieve optimal physical health and well-being. With close to a decade of practical experience in the field, Shane has developed a comprehensive understanding of musculoskeletal conditions and a range of treatment approaches.

Shane completed his Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy at Northumbria University Newcastle, where he gained a strong foundation in the principles and techniques of physiotherapy. In his continuous pursuit of knowledge and professional development, he has also acquired specialised certifications, including Acupuncture, Post Graduate Injection Therapy, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Scanning.

As an evidence-based practitioner, Shane adopts an integrated approach to treatment, blending manual therapy techniques with tailored exercise programs. His hands-on approach ensures that patients receive individualised care designed to address their specific needs and goals. Shane believes in empowering his patients to actively participate in their own recovery process, promoting long-term self-management strategies for sustained results.

Throughout his career, Shane has had the privilege of working with a diverse range of patients, spanning various age groups and athletic backgrounds. From children and teenagers to adults and the elderly, he has successfully treated individuals from all walks of life. His expertise extends to pro athletes, including Team GB athletes, professional footballers, rugby players, boxers, and dancers. Shane’s extensive experience enables him to provide specialised care that caters to the unique demands of each patient.

Shane is a registered member of both the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). These affiliations reflect his commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards and staying abreast of industry developments.

In his spare time, outside of spending it with his wife and son, he plays Gaelic football and 5 a side, hikes, goes to the gym and were possible loves to get out surfing! 

Outwith physical activities, he’s big fan of TV and movies, especially the Marvel movies.
