About Andrew Callachan at Callachans Health

MSc BSc (hons) Dip ST IP

Andrew has worked in health, fitness, and rehabilitation for over 30 years, starting Callachans in April 2000. He holds a master’s degree (MSc) in Advanced Practice Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University as well as undergraduate degree from Teesside university. He is a qualified Physiotherapist, Sports therapist, injection therapist and Acupuncturist and one of a small number of physiotherapists in the UK who are also Independent Prescribers, allowing him to assess, diagnose, prescribe medication, and manage treatment all in one seamless process.

He specialises in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and has previously worked in professional sport. He now operates the clinic, applying his skills and experience to support patients from a wide range of backgrounds with medical conditions.

Passionate about helping people improve their health. Andrew is committed to providing the highest standard of ethical, evidence-based care. He continues to develop his skills and knowledge to ensure his patients always receive the most up-to-date and effective treatment possible.
