Eos Active was founded in July 2023 by Jim Carr, in Whitley Bay, just a short walk from the beach and North Sea. The name ‘Eos’ comes from the Greek goddess of the new day or dawn, and that idea was sparked during early morning walks along the coast, watching the sun come up and developing the vision for a business of which we’re creating with Eos Active. That vision was tied to a feeling of gratitude for the freedom of pain-free movement to enjoy a jog, workout, or dog walk while the sun rises above the horizon.
A sunrise says a lot – it’s fresh, hopeful, and quietly powerful. That’s exactly what we’re aiming to deliver: a sense of a new beginning, both for the clinics we work with and the patients they treat.
